About this event
Every second August the Grand-Place is carpeted in roughly 600,000 cut begonias across 1,800 square metres. The 24th edition honours Japan with a new fresco, and an evening sound and light show runs on the square. Standing on the square and viewing the carpet at ground level costs nothing; only the Town Hall balcony view is sold.
