Festival of Lights
Fri 9 – Sun 18 Oct, after dark · Landmarks across Berlin — Bebelplatz, Berliner Dom and others · Berlin
via Berlin.de · Checked 3 Oct 2026
About this event
For ten nights Berlin’s facades become screens. Projection artists light up landmarks across the city, with Bebelplatz traditionally the densest cluster — three-sided light-art projections set to music — plus hotspots along Unter den Linden and, new for 2026, the exterior of the Olympiastadion.
Why we picked it
Berlin’s biggest free autumn spectacle: berlin.de prices admission at „Kostenlos“, and walking the route costs nothing.
Free entry
Free to watch — berlin.de’s structured admission field reads „Eintritt: Kostenlos“. Note that the two light shows inside the Olympiastadion and the Festival of Lights in Concert at the Berliner Dom are separately ticketed.
