About this event
The Konzerthaus hands over its whole building for a day: music in every room, an outdoor stage on Gendarmenmarkt, and the Konzerthausorchester Berlin alongside guests. Konzerthaus Brass opens outside at 10:45, then Tayfun Guttstadt's ney meets hip-hop beats, German-Iranian future-pop from Madanii, and cellist Taneli Turunen singing Finnish tango. Children get instrument carousels, face painting and digital sound worlds throughout.
Why we picked it
Berlin's strongest free music day this month, and a genuinely family-shaped way into a great concert hall.
Free entry
"Eintritt frei & Musik in allen Räumen – am 4. Oktober im Konzerthaus"; the programme text closes "Eintritt frei!"
