About this event

Ivan Armenteros Martínez (CSIC, Institució Milà i Fontanals) opens the city library network's series on Catalonia's slaving past with the uncomfortable local question: was there slavery on Catalan soil? The answer runs from the 6th century to the Ancien Régime, and from the 13th century onwards it stops being exceptional.
