About this event

Marc Riu Giralt of the University of Turin takes the series onto the ships themselves: who crewed the slavers, how many of them were Catalan, and what the voyages looked like from the deck. Held in the city's oldest public library, inside the medieval hospital complex on Carrer del Carme — a setting that does half the work.
