About this event
Twelve and a half million people were seized and shipped across the Atlantic. Adrià Enríquez Álvaro (UNED) turns the lens around from the ports of arrival to the societies the trade emptied, and what it did to them over three centuries. The second of four free sessions in the city's library series on Catalonia's slaving past.
Why we picked it
The strand of the slavery story that European cities usually skip — told from the African side, free, by a researcher.
