On Ohi Day the National Archaeological Museum drops admission for everyone, all day, last entry 19:30. The Mycenaean gold, the Antikythera mechanism and the Santorini frescoes on a national holiday when the city is out on the streets for the parades anyway — go early, because this is the one day the queue is the whole of Athens.
