About this event
For the fifth Spanish Cinema Day, the Cervantes Institute screens Jaime Chávarri's "El desencanto" — the 1976 black-and-white documentary that sat down with the family of Franco's official poet Leopoldo Panero and let them talk themselves apart. It opened a space for reflection on the weight of the dictatorship at the exact moment Spain was transitioning. Greek subtitles.
