Riga's first Open House opens several dozen buildings over one weekend: private houses including Villa Dālija in Bieriņi, the 54-metre Čiekurkalns water tower, the Splendid Palace cinema's neo-rococo interiors, the Zuzeum art museum's back rooms, and two live construction sites — the Wagner House and the Lenta quarter in Torņakalns. Some tours in Latvian, some in English.

The city culture department states Open House Rīga objektu apmeklēšana ir bez maksas (visiting the festival's buildings is free of charge); places on each tour are limited and must be reserved in advance at openhouseriga.com.
