An operetta programme in the Bethanienkirche in Schleußig, one of Leipzig's leafiest districts, on the German Unity Day holiday. Operetta rewards a live room: the tunes are built for voices to show off in, and a church acoustic gives them space to do it. It starts at five, so there is still a whole evening left afterwards.
