Sobre este evento
The Zeitgeschichtliches Forum turns its attention to the garden as a German social space: allotment plots, Schrebergärten, dacha culture in the GDR, the politics of fences and what people grow, hide and display behind them. A characteristically well-made contemporary-history exhibition from the federal Haus der Geschichte foundation, and a good rainy-afternoon option in the city centre.
Por qué lo elegimos
A free, thoughtfully curated exhibition on a very German obsession, in one of the country's best contemporary-history museums.
Entrada gratuita
Listed as free entry (gratis) in the Leipzig free-culture calendar; the Haus der Geschichte foundation's museums do not charge for admission. Opening hours not stated in the source consulted.
