The oldest working court of justice in Europe convenes in the open air at the cathedral's Apostles' Door every Thursday at noon, exactly as it has for a thousand years. Eight elected farmers in black smocks hear irrigation disputes from Valencia's huerta and rule orally, in Valencian, with no written record. It lasts minutes rather than hours, so be in the square before 12:00.
