Über dieses Event

Day one of Evergreen's festival that deliberately drags grief out of the shadows: peer support from Bereaved Families of Ontario, art installations on death and mourning, a candle-and-rock memorial where you can write a name and hang a pet's collar on the rainbow bridge, sound healing in the CRH Gallery, a 70-minute show in the BMO Atrium and workshops on food and memory.

Warum wir es ausgewählt haben

An unusually brave piece of public programming, and almost all of it is explicitly free in a city where this subject is usually paywalled behind therapy.

Freier Eintritt

Evergreen's schedule marks most Day 1 programmes FREE (several of them drop-in), with two exceptions priced separately: one workshop is pay-what-you-can with $5 recommended, and one is FREE with registration.

Anmeldung

Anmeldung nötig

Mostly drop-in and free; two workshop slots (11:30 am and 3 pm in Blakes Room) are FREE with registration
