The spa town on Sofia's western edge runs an outdoor cinema in its Rotonda park through the warm months, projecting onto a screen among the trees once darkness falls at nine. Seating is laid out in the open air. Bankya is reachable from central Sofia by city bus, which makes the trip a cheap evening out of the city proper.
