The eve of the Patrona is spent dancing in Plaça Major to live bands, with The Hawaiians and Cirko playing until very late under the plane trees of Pollença's main square. It is the classic Mallorcan revetla: no seating, no barriers, all ages, and the bars around the square open for as long as people stay.
