A weekly nature hour for the under-fives on the East River waterfront in Long Island City: a different theme each week, a guided storytime and a craft to take home, with the Manhattan skyline as a backdrop. Supplies go out first come, first served, and every child needs an adult with them. It runs on Thursday mornings through late October.
