Über dieses Event
A screening of Maintenance Artist, the documentary on Mierle Laderman Ukeles - the artist who made New York's sanitation workers her material and shook hands with 8,500 of them - followed by a panel discussion in Cooper Union's Rose Auditorium. Ukeles' manifesto on maintenance work reads as sharply now as it did in 1969.
Warum wir es ausgewählt haben
A documentary on one of the most quietly radical artists to work with the city itself, plus a panel, for nothing.
