Montuïri's Cossiers are the best known of Mallorca's surviving ritual dance troupes, moving through the hilltop village with the Dama and the Dimoni to pipe and drum on their patron saint's day. The dances are performed in the street over the course of the day as part of a multi-day programme of music and sport.
