Ljubljana's Sunday flea market stretches along the Breg embankment beneath the castle, selling the accumulated evidence of a century of Central European households: Yugoslav-era enamelware, postcards, tools, jewellery and furniture. Free to browse, best early, and one of the more honest windows into the region's recent past that the city offers.
