Every other Friday evening through the summer, the Arco do Cego garden turns into an open-air jazz club. The Hot Clube de Portugal, the Iberian peninsula's oldest jazz association, handles the programming, so the bills are proper working groups rather than background music. Expect quintets from the Portuguese scene, deckchairs on the grass and a neighbourhood crowd that turns up early.
