Über dieses Event
Part of Vuotalo's Grand Piano Month, this recital sets Frederic Chopin beside the Polish modernist Grazyna Bacewicz and follows one thread through both: the link between music and dance. Chopin's sunlit Barcarolle and the light-footed Bacewicz Children's Suite sit alongside dances that turn darker and more single-minded as they drive towards their climax. A short, well-programmed hour of solo piano in eastern Helsinki.
