Budapest's grand UNESCO-listed boulevard turns 150, and the city marks it with a fortnight of guided walks, open-air exhibitions, lectures, mystery games and family programmes staged along its length. It is a rare chance to have the avenue's history unpacked properly rather than glimpsed from a tram window between the Opera House and Heroes' Square.
