Three days of composition sessions led by Zygmunt Krauze, Sarah Kirkland Snider and Steven Mackey, with Ensemble Couleurs reading and workshopping new scores live. Composers walk through their own methods and respond to competition entrants' work. Open to listeners as well as participants, which makes it accessible to anyone curious about how contemporary concert music actually gets built.
