Warsaw's longest-running summer ritual, now in its 67th season: two open-air Chopin recitals every Sunday at the foot of the Art Nouveau Chopin monument, played on a grand piano under the stylised willow. On 9 August the French pianists Francois Dumont at noon and Philippe Giusiano at four take the bench, both Chopin Competition laureates. Audiences sit on the surrounding benches and the grass behind.
