On Thursday evenings Nationalmuseum's experts pop up in the galleries for 15 minutes on a single artwork or a handful of pieces: its history, technique and meaning, with time for questions. The theme changes weekly and is posted on signs in the museum on the day. A Swedish session is followed by one in English, and the bar is open for a drink afterwards.
