Monaco's municipal music and theatre academy opens its corridors for two hours on the Sunday morning, including its violin-making department, with concerts played through the building by its own students. It sits on boulevard Albert Ier, the strip that becomes the Grand Prix start-finish straight, which makes the contrast — luthiers' benches and racing tarmac — part of the pleasure.
