A German baroque ensemble plays the Monday open-air slot at the Bach monument on Thomaskirchhof, performing period repertoire in the open air a few metres from Bach's burial church. The series runs weekly through the summer and draws a mixed crowd of locals, choir families and passing visitors. Relocates indoors if the weather turns.
