The season closes with a gala of Verdi — choruses and arias rather than a single narrative — sung in the Wood Quay amphitheatre on the last Thursday of August. It is the biggest-sounding of the four dates and usually the best attended, so arrive early with something to sit on. One hour, narrated in English, free.
