Novi Zagreb's neighbourhood cinema-on-the-grass rolls its screen into Zapruđe for Bijelo se pere na devedeset, Marko Škobalj's sharp Croatian comedy of family and laundry-day chaos. Residents bring blankets and folding chairs onto the park lawn and the film starts once it is dark. Funded from the city budget, it is about as unpretentious as an open-air screening gets.
