About this event
A morning seminar built around João Maria Gusmão's exhibition Following the White Tiger, examining how the moving image frames the colonial gaze and what it means to look closely at footage shot elsewhere. Expect close readings and discussion rather than a lecture, with the exhibition itself as the working text. Held in the main gallery building.
Why we picked it
A substantive free seminar on a subject most institutions put behind a paid course fee — worth the advance sign-up.
