About this event
Tens of thousands of Varsovians fill Piłsudski Square after dark, songbooks in hand, and sing the banned songs of the occupation and the uprising together with a live band. It began as a small gathering and has become one of the largest mass singalongs in Europe. Lyrics are handed out and projected, so you can join in without a word of Polish rehearsed in advance.
Why we picked it
A free open-air singalong on the scale of a stadium crowd, and the emotional high point of Warsaw's anniversary night.
Free entry
Listed as free on the Warsaw Rising Museum's official 82nd anniversary programme.
