About this event
Lights down, hundred-year-old images up, and a score improvised in the room: Marcin Pukaluk accompanies "Zew morza" live while film historian Michał Pieńkowski introduces it. Part of a short October season of restored Polish silents at Dom Kultury Świt: no dialogue, no effects, and far more emotion than that description suggests.
Why we picked it
Live-scored silent cinema is rare anywhere and free here, in a Targówek culture house running a whole season of it.
Free entry
Listing states "Wstęp wolny" (free entry) for the 4–18 October series.
