About this event
Antoni Rodowicz absorbs light and metabolises it, as curator Borys Czyżak puts it: raw black-and-white work under martial law in the 1980s, colour arriving later, and a Japanese seal brought by a friend in the 1970s that he still signs his paintings with. The painter's own survey of looking for light.
Why we picked it
Four decades of one Warsaw painter's work, opened free on Saska Kępa with the curator present.
