A father-and-son documentary project from Dzūkija, shown in the conference hall of the Tuskulėnai Peace Park memorial. The Černiauskas pair have spent decades photographing village life in southern Lithuania; 'Buying Bread' is that archive at its most ordinary and therefore its most affecting — rural Lithuania caught doing nothing in particular.
