Professor Yunhong Zhao travels from Beijing with five of her outstanding graduates for an evening of love songs drawn from very different traditions - tender longing, happy meeting, outright abandon. International melodies and highly worked vocal writing meet in a programme designed to cross languages rather than translate them, in the intimate rooms of Haus Hofmannsthal.
