One of Austria's best-known literary gatherings sets up its open-air stage in the MuseumsQuartier's main courtyard every Thursday in August, pairing established and emerging authors reading new work. Bring a blanket or grab courtyard seating; the format is casual, the writing is current, and it's one of the few big-name literary festivals anywhere that costs nothing to attend.
