About this event
Margareten gives its square over to pumpkins for an afternoon: carving tables, autumn crafts for children, roasted seeds and the neighbourhood associations who run the whole thing. It is a small, local, slightly chaotic street party of the sort Vienna does well, and it fills the square from mid-afternoon until dark.
Why we picked it
A genuine neighbourhood autumn festival rather than a staged one, five minutes from Margaretenguertel.
