Margareten gives over its district hall to Japan for an afternoon: origami, manga drawing, calligraphy and soroban abacus workshops, a traditional tea ceremony and a Japanese concert to close. Four hours, free admission, and hands-on rather than a display. A well-built programme for a district event, and it works for adults and children together.
