The alumni choir and orchestra of Hamburg's Christianeum, conducted by Dietmar Schünicke, perform Brahms's German Requiem in the neo-Gothic church of St Elisabeth in Wieden. One of the most affecting works in the choral repertoire, given complete, in a church with the acoustics for it — and no ticket.
