About this event
Carinthia's men's choir in Vienna has been going 75 years, and marks it with a long evening alongside guest choirs and the launch of a new recording. Kärntnerlieder are among the most distinctive regional singing traditions in Austria — dense close harmony, sung slowly — and hearing several choirs trade sets in a Schmelz Schutzhaus is about as authentic a setting as exists in the city.
