About this event
Every Thursday at noon, eight farmers in traditional black smocks convene beneath the cathedral's Apostles' Door to settle irrigation disputes in Valencian, following a ritual dating back a thousand years. Declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, it is the oldest justice institution in Europe and is held in the open for anyone to watch.
