About this event
A traca corrida is a running chain of firecrackers laid along the street and set off end to end, and Patraix follows it with fireworks at two in the afternoon. Loud, smoky and entirely free to stand and watch. Daytime fireworks sound odd to anyone not from here, but the noise is the point rather than the light.
