About this event
Valencia has more than twenty-five sociedades musicales in the city alone, and this new cycle puts them on the Palau de la Música's stage — one of the best acoustics in Spain, and normally somewhere a neighbourhood band never plays. The October date belongs to the Agrupació Musical Sant Isidre. Wind-band music is close to a civic religion here, and hearing it in that hall rather than at a street fiesta changes it completely.
