About this event
Valencia's regional government fixed 2 August as the day for traditional Valencian dance, and the city marks it by filling Plaça de la Reina with dancers and live music. Expect jotas, fandangos, boleros, albaes and bureos performed by more than two hundred people at once, in full regional dress, with the cathedral bell tower behind them. It happens in the open street and costs nothing.
