Valencia's best free summer ritual: a month of nightly screenings in the Gothic cloister of the Centre del Carme, in original version with subtitles. The setting does most of the work, with the screen framed by medieval arches and the audience spread out on chairs below. You are welcome to bring dinner along, in the tradition of Spanish cine de verano.
