About this event
A spectacular 130-year-old tradition closing Valencia's Gran Fira de Juliol. Flower-decked floats parade down the Paseo de la Alameda carrying the city's fallera queens, and then the famous battle erupts: over 1.2 million carnations are hurled between float riders and the crowd in a joyous storm of petals. It's colour, music and Valencian festivity at full volume.
