About this event
Ensemble Alekton, which specialises in twentieth- and twenty-first-century repertoire and in new pieces written for it, plays the academy's Student Tuesday series. The programme runs from Erkki-Sven Tuur and Sofia Gubaidulina to Ravel, with new work by Georg Jakob Salumae, Reza Kazazi and Dimitris Konstantinos Rizos. Serious contemporary chamber music in a proper chamber hall.
Why we picked it
Contemporary repertoire and premieres by a dedicated ensemble in the national academy's chamber hall, with no ticket — a rare combination.
