Soprano Sonya Yoncheva's Gala in Sofia festival opens with a free open-air set from DJ Charles B on the square in front of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, mixing classical material into a club-scale show. The two gala concerts that follow on 25 and 27 August are ticketed; this opening night is the one that is open to everybody.
