An open ball de bot — Mallorca's traditional couple dance — where the point is that anyone can join in. A live group plays jotas, boleros and mateixes, older dancers show the steps, and by midnight the square is full of people who arrived not knowing any of it. The friendliest possible entry point into Mallorcan folk culture.
