About this event

Gino Auriuso's long-running festival plants theatre, music, poetry and painting in the parks of Rome's western Municipio XI. Evenings at Parco Tevere Magliana bring Saverio Tommasi with the Orchestra Multietnica di Arezzo, Nadia Baldi and Franca Abategiovanni; afternoons scatter workshops in recycling, circus, percussion and theatre across five neighbourhoods for all ages.

Why we picked it

Free, participatory and deliberately sited in parts of Rome no guidebook covers — good for readers who want the city rather than the postcard.

Free entry

Reported by Italian press as free performances and workshops ('spettacoli e laboratori gratuiti').
